You have an interesting use case, and I must admit this is the first time I am coming across it. I have given it some thought and I believe it could be approached as an optimization problem. In this case, the parameters you have found in the first problem will be held constant, and then the values you need to find will be the tune-able parameters. You could use scipy.optimize for this. I have an article for that here.
